yesterday (thurs) had training at NYP n the water (i must say) is pathetic! yes, they sprayed water on the pitch but like after 5 minutes or so, i see a desert! oh per-lease! spray more water n spray it for a longer time! either that or there's something wrong with the pitch! ok heck. even with such harsh conditions (haha) trng was very very fruitful! we really had a chance to put some of our attacking skills to practise n try out more advance skills n (my favourite) short corner set pieces! after trng, we went lunching then most of us went home to (i) bathe (ii) sleep (iii) change (iv) go out to meet each other at City Hall. i secretly wish i can sleep more...
woohoo! met up with FEN & MANDA! 2 chicks! ok u have to read on cuz i'm gonna talk abt something extremely FREAKY that took place on NEL... and so we were on NEL trying to get some sleep but Manda wouldnt shut her mouth! in a blink of an eye, we were just 1 stop away from Dhouby Ghaut where we need to get off n transfer to another train. when the train stopped at Little India, this old man with slippers n shorts n an old tee holding a red market plastic bag walked in. little did we expect he is MAD! u noe how it feels like when u see mad people on trains. i have nothing against them cuz they are just simply unfortunate, but it's not ok when they target u! oh dear!
have u been in a train with the Magnolia Milk ad? on the floor of the train, u will notice an ad with 2 sets of foot prints (one big one small) indicating n adult n a child. n so this mad man started his ways....
man: hey girl ah! (referring to 3 of us) next time hor, ur children like this one! (points at the small set of footprints)
while manda n fen r in total shock n starring at him, i chose to respond uninterestingly.
me: errr... okay.
man: yar! u see 10 years time ur children will be like this!
me: *laughs bitterly*... okay.
man: (continues talking shit)
all: (looked away speaking between gritted teeth) omg... wad a freak... wth...
just then, this Caucasian couple stepped into the train. my sympathies to u. unfortunately, the man tried to start a conversation with them...
man: eh! u 2 from England ah! (he means Europe...)
female: (stares suspiciously) er.. yes.
man: u 2 come Singapore?
(pls stop scaring them! they will NEVER return here ever agn n it's ur fault!)
female: actually we've been here n we're going to Australia.
man: orh! u noe the King? the King of England? (he means Queen...)
(omg! stop flaunting ur dreadful english! u have just thrown the whole country's face in public!)
female: err yes...
man: King coming Singapore! Last time.. err i think 12 years ago, he got come here! Last time very pretty! now quite old! (he really meant the Queen... like look who's talking, u r old too... plus insane!)
he seriously shows NO respect to the Royal Family. he addressed Prince Charles as Charles n Charlie... like his friend! my goodness *faints* everybody in the carriage was traumatised. the Caucasian male was... STUNNED.
the duration from Little India to Douby Ghaut seemed very long... once the train stopped at Douby Ghaut n we went to the further exit in the carriage, this sick man had to traumatise us for one last time!
man: (shouts across the carriage) eh! remember! ur children next time like this!
all i could mutter under my breath before the door opens n we ran was, "Oh shut up u idiot!". and so, we finally made it to City Hall! phew!

Dinner at Sportz Ballz was really great! the food was nice! love the punch the most! we all had fun playing the Football machine, darts n pool (wahhaa i seriously suck at pool! ought to be shot dead) Wendy, Dorene, Fen & Manda are like PRO! Charles even more PRO! totally one man show! darts was hilarious! Mei was damn expert! Fen she anyhow throw but scored high points as well. i've learnt not to laugh at people. it's Karma. when u do so, u end up doing the same thing n others will laugh at u. Jun Xian threw the darts n they went a bit off course... so i laughed... then my turn to throw at the girls side... oh fish! i scored 3! ahhhaaah! my record was then broken by Peisee with 2! ahhaaa she's damn adorable!
All in all, we had a wonderful time out. i guess although the team sees each other every single day this wk, i tnk no matter where or when, i'll never get sick of these people cuz they just Rock my Socks! today's our friendly with VJ.. hmm i kinda dun feel anything, just happy i'll get to see Joyce and Xinyi! one thing i like abt my team is that, we may not have many experienced players but tt only means wadever we lack, we make up in other areas. n as far as i can tell now, we have great great great team spirit, we compliment each other, we r all very optimistic n we're humble n not complacent (: i hope all things will go well later on! all the best to the guys too!
